Leader: Brian Gibbon Contact: 705-791-3103 Meet Location: Minesing Station Park, Trailhead parking (2053 Hwy 26, just West of Golf Course Road) Start Time: 8:30 a.m. End Time: 1:00 p.m. Registration: Not required Accessibility: Flat, firm trail with minimal elevation change. Details: Let's see what early autumn has to offer in the flora and fauna along a favourite section of the rail trail near Mayer's Marsh. Sparrows and other hardy migrants should still be in the area, including, possibly, Rusty Blackbirds. Easy walking

TRIPS

A number of BFNC members have volunteered their time and expertise to bring you a great outdoor trip program. As usual we have some old favourites and some really exciting new ones. Although birds are a focus there will be something for every interest. Please join them in exploring the natural history of Simcoe county. MEETINGS

All regular meetings are held at Northwest Barrie United Church, 464 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie and start at 7:00pm.. Meetings are held in the Westennial Hall at the back of the church. Park in the big lot off Horsfield Drive..
