The Thornton Trail goes straight through farmland, woods and marshy areas. It goes straight because it was an old railway line toAllandale. These trails are fascinating and easy walking and who knows what birds and other creatures are hanging out along the verdant sides. Water, snack. Easy walking. Bring insect repellant

TRIPS
A number of BFNC members have volunteered their time and expertise to bring you a great outdoor trip program. As usual we have some old favourites and some really exciting new ones. Although birds are a focus there will be something for every interest. Please join them in exploring the natural history of Simcoe county. MEETINGS
All regular meetings are held at Northwest Barrie United Church, 464 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie and start at 7:00pm.. Meetings are held in the Westennial Hall at the back of the church. Park in the big lot off Horsfield Drive..
