| HORNED LARKS and other harbingers of spring |

Departs 8:30 am from LLPL Brian Gibbon and Brian Backland Leaders Horned Larks are among the first songbirds to return to Simcoe County in spring. We will search the Minesing Flats for them and late winter birds (perhaps a Snowy Owl and Snow Buntings, e.g.). Note: This year there will be no pancake breakfast. Driving outing, usually ends by 12.30 p.m., snack & drink. |

TRIPS
A number of BFNC members have volunteered their time and expertise to bring you a great outdoor trip program. As usual we have some old favourites and some really exciting new ones. Although birds are a focus there will be something for every interest. Please join them in exploring the natural history of Simcoe county. Check the website for any last minute changes or check with the trip leader or Jim Coey BFNC trip coordinator (705) 543-1866.

MEETINGS
All regular meetings are held at Northwest Barrie United Church, 464 Ferndale Drive North, Barrie and start at 7:30pm.. Meetings are held in the Westennial Hall at the back of the church. Park in the big lot off Horsfield Drive..
